Asset Manager

Operations

The primary role of the Asset Manager is to manage, control, monitor and direct company assets to maximize the availability, utilization and profitability of these resources. Managing the equipment order process and the effectiveness of the rental stock are the ultimate responsibilities of the Asset Manager.

The Asset Manager works to increase revenue and asset values by developing and maintaining the integrity of the stock control system to ensure the accurate forecast of resource availability, and therefore assure the delivery of quality products and services for eclipse.

Required Education and/or Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Understanding of an asset management system
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in event or entertainment technology, warehouse operations, project management, asset management, or substantially similar work
  • Knowledge of the technical principles of operation and maintenance of equipment
  • Analytical skills and ability to compile program and statistical data
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Commercial and financial understanding

Technician

Audio

The Audio Technician prepares, sets up, installs, and/or operates audio equipment for events, working to achieve the highest standard of service and equipment quality. The role is entry-level and while comprehensive training will be provided, our requirements are as follows:

Required Education and/or Qualifications:

  • Secondary education; or relevant years of experience
  • Good written and spoken English

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of audio-specific technical experience in events technology
  • Understanding of all audio equipment types, their use and maintenance
  • Ability to set up and operate small to medium jobs independently is highly advantageous
  • Ability to follow equipment lists, ensuring audio equipment leaving the warehouse is prepped to a high standard
  • Basic knowledge of reading and understanding technical plans
  • Ability to fault-find in chosen discipline
  • Understanding of and ability to maintain audio cabling infrastructure
  • A demonstrable level of experience in digital consoles and setting up various sound systems would be a distinct advantage
  • Basic understanding of various microphone types and their uses, including RF mics and their operation (polar patterns, mic sensitivities, and frequency response)
  • Understanding of power basics and power distribution in entertainment systems
  • Good understanding of safety and HSE guidelines/working at height safe practice

Technician

Video

The Technician prepares, sets up, installs, and/or operates video equipment for events, working to achieve the highest standard of service and equipment quality.

Required Education and/or Qualifications:

  • Good written and spoken English
  • Associate's degree is preferable; or relevant years of experience
  • Competency in using MS Office

Required Experience:

  • Experience in events and event technology industry and operating for shows
  • Knowledge of all video equipment
  • Ability to follow equipment lists to prepare technical equipment leaving the warehouse
  • Fault-finding skills in the video discipline
  • Ability to identify appropriate lenses for particular video set-up
  • Good understanding of basic video formats and signals, projection calculations, switching and signal distribution
  • Ability to understand and follow video schematics at a basic level
  • Basic knowledge of LED screens construction and programming
  • Ability to set up and operate small to medium jobs independently
  • Basic knowledge of reading technical plans
  • Intermediate knowledge of multi-screen blends would be ideal
  • Good understanding of safety and HSE guidelines/working at height safe practice
